Hi! I’m Alessandra, and my love language is capturing those moments that people hold near and dear, then hyper fixating on how much I love - love.

I grew up in an Italian-German family, so food and togetherness were our core values. I always found myself very invested in savoring every single moment when we were all together as a family. To me, it felt like if I didn’t take that one picture, that somehow, that feeling and that moment would be lost to time. I got my first DSLR camera when I was 13 years old, and quickly started to capture the world around me. I had always gravitated towards landscape and macro-photography because the earth never needed to be staged, it was always perfect in its simplicity. I took this love of natural, non-staged moments, and transferred it to portrait photography.

Some of my favorite photos of family members and friends are the moments when they’re caught off guard, mid laugh, mid hug, mid cry, and I can just look at the photo and put myself back into that exact moment. That is exactly what I strive for as a photographer, to make you re-live the moments, the feelings, and the people that are pertinent to your story.

The photos we take now will live on longer than we will, we all deserve to have our lives memorized in a beautiful, authentic way.
